ASKYON HQ is a trading name of Carter McCluskey, a sole trader based in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom ("ASKYON", "we"). ASKYON HQ is a race preparation and training platform. Some of this is special category (health-related) data under UK GDPR. We process it only on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give when you create an account and when you connect a device, and which you can withdraw at any time.
Solely to provide the service: to build your training plan, food and pacing guidance, to record and analyse your rides, and to show your own data back to you. Your data shown to you is yours alone; we do not show one athlete's data to another. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your data is held in our database provider Supabase, hosted in the European Union (London/Frankfurt region). If you do not create an account, your data stays only in your own web browser on your device.
ASKYON does not set advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you do not see a cookie banner. We use your browser's local storage only for things the service needs to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your settings, and saving your plan on your device. Strictly necessary storage like this does not require consent under UK rules (PECR). If you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set its own cookies on its own site under its own policy, and our traffic statistics come from Cloudflare's cookieless analytics, which stores nothing on your device.
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app, or by emailing us. Deleting your account also removes any data we hold from connected services such as Strava and Garmin.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your data promptly, and it ages out of routine backups shortly after.
